featuring paintings in Oil, Pastel, and Water-color. Subject matter from Plein Air Lanscapes
to Contemporary Abstractions. Extensive
travels provide backgounds for paintings in
France, Germany, Austria, England, Ireland,
Italy, Greece, Portugal, and Spain. Local
favorite location is the Palo Duro Canyon
State Park in Texas.

The Chicago area was home to Len Slesick
before he left for a tour of duty with the Navy
during the Korean War. A Meteorlogist
holding the Seals of Approval for television
and radio broadcasting. Winner of the
Broadcaster of the year presented by the
American Meteorlogist Society, Len turned
to his Art Career full time after spending 30
years as a television meteorlogist.
Establishing his own Studio / Gallery over
20 years ago, Len has studied with such art
notables as Elaine de Kooning, Laurence
Calcango. Dord Fitz, Ben Konis, Rick Howell
and Maggie Price
Len has taught and conducted workshops in
Texas, Okla., New Mexico, and Ireland.
Teaches Oil and Pastel for the Amarillo Art
Institute and is Winner of many awards, works
are represented in private and corporate
collections across the country.

Amarillo, Texas has been home to Ginny Slesick since 1965. She is originally
from Chicago, Illinois where her intense interest
in Art was formed.
Her studies with fine artists Dord Fitz, Ben Konis,
Maggie Price, Don Getz, Rick Howell, Richard
Alan Nichols, and Guido Frick have provided
insight and encouragement.
Ginny's memberships include: Charter member of
The Society of Master Impressionists, Oil
Painters of America, International Association
of Pastel Society, Signature member and
past President of Lone Star Pastel Society,
and instructor for the Amarillo Art Institute.
Her works are in collections across the
country and are included in Museum Collections
at the XIT Museum, the Square House Museum,
and the Moore County Art Museum.
